What We Believe

We don’t just believe these truths—we live them.

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of New Jerusalem International. Everything we teach and build is rooted in the truth of God’s Word and centered on the life-changing power of the Gospel.

God

We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

He is the Creator of all things—visible and invisible—and is perfect in love, power, holiness, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchanging and worthy of all glory and praise.

Hebrews 13:8
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Revelation

We believe God reveals Himself through Jesus Christ, His Word, and His creation.

Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God, and through Scripture we are given truth, direction, and understanding for life.

Colossians 1:15
“The Son is the image of the invisible God…”

Mankind

We believe humanity was created in the image of God with purpose and value.

From the beginning, God designed mankind for relationship, responsibility, and stewardship over His creation.

Genesis 1:27
“So God created mankind in his own image…”

The Fall

We believe sin entered the world through disobedience, separating humanity from God and distorting His original design.

Because of sin, all people are in need of restoration and reconciliation with God.

Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Salvation

We believe salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone.

Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and was raised from the dead. Through His grace, salvation is offered freely to all who believe in Him and accept Him as Lord and Savior.

Romans 10:9
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart… you will be saved.”

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to represent Him in the earth.

The Church exists to glorify God, preach the Gospel, disciple believers, and bring transformation to communities.

Matthew 5:14
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

Ressurection

We believe Jesus Christ will return, and there will be a resurrection of both the living and the dead.

God’s Kingdom will be fully established, and eternity will be spent either in His presence or separated from Him.

John 11:25
“I am the resurrection and the life…”
